Khalid – out of body

Khalid out of body

It appears that Khalid was highly influenced by early 2000s pop music, specifically in the style of Timbaland, the Pussycat Dolls, and Justin Timberlake, among others. The impression we’re getting from this brand-new single is “out of body.” This is the Texas singer’s second single to be released from his upcoming album, after “After the Sun Goes Down”.

This teaser stays stylistically consistent with the first “in plain sight,” a more summery and upbeat track. In contrast, this one dims the lights and centres on a night charged with sensual unease.

Inside, I wouldn’t want to share it with anyone else, now that we’re alone, I want you to myself, all to myself, nobody has to know; it’s just you and I, where your lips could go, that’s for you to decide.

Similar to the opening track, it includes another catchy chorus that blends cleverness and sensuality. Khalid’s subtle vocal style enhances the captivating atmosphere the song aims to create.

Singing about this person Khalid wants to draw makes the listener curious about where their night will unfold.

Following its release will be his fourth album, and the first since Sincere in 2024. You can view the video for “out of body” which features excellent choreography by clicking on the link provided below.
