Social media is convinced that Kehlani has another hit song with “Out The Window,” which is scheduled to be released next Friday, November 7.

On 29 October, the singer announced the song’s release date, along with its pre-save link and cover art. The cover was shot by Markus Klinko, known to many for his work on Beyoncé’s Dangerously In Love and Mariah Carey’s The Emancipation of Mimi album covers. The artwork included a close-up picture of Kehlani against a white background, with the song’s title positioned to her right.

Although the cover was relatively straightforward, fans appeared to be fond of it. The cover has a distinctly early 2000s R&B aesthetic. Even down to the smallest details, I love it, one person wrote. This one is particularly special. The Aaliyah period of your career. Below is the description.

Kehlani started hinting at “Out The Window” on October 13. Since then, they’ve been giving their followers a lot of previews of the track that everyone has been eagerly waiting for. “It’s astonishing how loudly the silent treatment can be heard; the tension is palpable even when you’re not around, all because of one night of mistakes that erased the progress made over countless days.”

The upcoming single will come out in the midst of an exceptionally successful year for the person from Oakland. Kehlani is still basking in the success of “Folded,” which saw the release of a Homage Pack last Friday, October 24. The remix EP featured six remakes of the song on streaming platforms, with contributions from Toni Braxton, Brandy, Mario, and Ne-Yo, among others.

Kehlani told their daughter, Adeya Nomi Parrish Young-White, that they thought it was a particularly cool way to return to music after not releasing music for a while, as of earlier this month. I felt fairly certain about it. I thought it was a good song.

Fans of Kehlani can look forward to her next album, scheduled to be released in 2026 following “Out The Window”.
