KATSEYE – Gnarly (Ice Spice Remix)

Ice Spice is teaming up with KATSEYE for a remix of her viral hit, “Gnarly.” They are a rapidly rising global girl group that began their career in June of last year. The group comprises Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae, and they have one EP titled SIS (Soft Is Strong) to their credit, with another EP in the pipeline.

According to Billboard, Beautiful Chaos is set to be released on June 27 through HYBE and Geffen. The initial release of “Gnarly” debuted on streaming platforms on April 30, and its popularity has continued to rise since then. The song has achieved a rapid rise, reaching number 92 on the Hot 100 chart last month.

The number of streams has decreased since then, but 73 million is still an impressive figure.

The group KATSEYE is comprised of members from the United States, Switzerland, the Philippines, and South Korea. HYBE and Geffen developed The Debut: Dream Academy, attracting 120,000 participants.

The number was eventually narrowed down to 20, with Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae being selected as the winners.
