Detroit, Michigan is a breeding ground for all sorts of great musical talents, especially hip-hop. There are definitely no questions about that. One of those underrated names is Kash Doll. The 32-year-old rapper has been going strong for nearly a decade now. She got her start in 2015 with two singles “His & Hers” and “Thang on Me” with Will Grinden. Kash has come a long way from that point. The fiery rapper has been able to work alongside another Michigan native Big Sean. You can also add DJ Drama, Lil Wayne, Trey Song, Metro Boomin, and more to the list.
Even though she has all of this experience under her belt, Kash Doll is pretty stingy about releasing. She has three projects to refer to. Those being a 2018 mixtape, Brat Mail, a 2019 tape Stacked, and a 2023 Back on Dexter: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape. Now, it appears she is gearing up for her sophomore album.
According to The Source, that is the case and she appears to be doing this with “Power.” It is Kash’s first single of the year and it features a familiar production that is quite iconic. Yes, your ears did not mislead you. The anthemic vocals in the background are from Kanye West’s 2010 song “Power” from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Y
