Hip-hop star Kanye West, who is now called YE, has created a lot of buzz in South Africa by saying he will have a concert in Johannesburg later this year.

The rapper shared on X that he will perform at Ellis Park Stadium on December 13, 2025, and this will be his only show in Africa for the year.

His announcement poster, done in his usual unique style, simply said:

Just after a few hours, the post got over 20,000 views, and fans started creating memes, showing their excitement and worry that tickets might sell out very quickly.

YE mentioned that fans can now sign up for pre-registration on Ticketpro.co. za, and more news will be shared later by the event organizers, Monyake Group, and Ellis Park Stadium.

This will be YE’s first big performance in South Africa in a long time, and since this concert is his only one in Africa for 2025, insiders believe there will be a huge rush for tickets.
