Kanye West Announced That His New Album, Titled 'BULLY', Is Set To Be Released In 2026 During Deon Cole's Performance

Deon Cole had the opportunity to invite Kanye West onstage during a recent performance. While engaging in conversation with the comedian, West mentioned that he has a new album coming soon.

Cole was concluding a set at the Hollywood Improv on December 27, which West, his wife Bianca Censori, and music executive John Monopoly attended. “Go on and give it up for a good friend. Thank you for coming out, dog. You had a good time tonight?” Cole asked West as he joined him on stage to applause.

West appeared somewhat shy as he began to converse with Cole. “Did you laugh? Like, not no fake laugh … You wouldn’t give me no sympathy laugh?” Cole’s remark drew laughter from the audience and nods from West.

Cole continued, “You was, like, busting the f**k up? Why your body language ain’t showing bust the f**k up body language? You up here like, ‘Mmm, hmm. Yeah,’”

Despite West’s initial hesitation, Cole navigated the interaction with his typical comedic flair. While joking about West’s limited engagement in conversation despite their friendship, Cole elicited a reaction when he asked if fans should expect new music, clothing, or accessories. West smiled and indicated a “new album.”

It is speculated that West is referencing his long-anticipated BULLY LP, first announced in September 2024. However, several rumored release dates in 2025 passed without the album being released. According to Spotify, BULLY is now scheduled for a January 30, 2026 release.

Cole suggested the idea of featuring on an interlude for the album and requested a care package of YZY clothing. He concluded by expressing appreciation, saying, “Thank you for being the legend that you are, holding down Chicago,” before exchanging a fist bump with West, which was met with applause.

West’s last solo project was DONDA 2, released in 2022, which has seen several updates since its initial launch. The most recent version became available on streaming platforms in April.
