Kabza De Small, a prominent figure in the Amapiano genre, has established himself as South Africa’s most streamed producer, achieving yet another record in the process.

The hitmaker is now the first artist in the country to have achieved the milestone of 140 songs, each exceeding one million streams on Spotify.

Celebrations erupted among fans after PianoConnectSA confirmed the news on 1 October 2025, hailing him as “the greatest producer in South Africa”.

Kabza’s success on streaming platforms follows his recent album Bab’Motha, which has generated hits including Siyabonga, with 2.5 million streams already recorded.

His collaboration with Mthunzi, Imithandazo, tops the charts with an impressive 43 million streams.

Over the years, Kabza has transformed Amapiano into a global phenomenon, persistently breaking barriers and collecting awards while sustaining an exceptionally high work rate.

His latest achievement not only showcases his artistic abilities but also illustrates the dedication of his global fanbase, who persist in streaming his music in considerable quantities.
