The ‘paved the way’ conversation does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, as the latest addition to the conversation is veteran singer and producer, Jaywon.
In a recent interview with Nigerian comedian and self-acclaimed ‘King of Talk’, Teju Babyface, the singer claimed that rapper, OdumoduBlvck was completely out of place for claiming that no artist paved the path for other artists.
Jaywon went on to say, that every person in their respective sectors has role models and those who came before them and showed them that success was achievable.
However, Jaywon may have just set the stage for a potential confrontation with Odumodu Blvck. The singer was asked how he felt about Odumodu’s opinion on the matter, he stated, “I know Odumodu well, he’s one of my small boys in Abuja and I love him, even if his music is not all that”.
Jaywon spoke on a wide range of topics, including his allegations against D’banj, his arrest after violating curfew orders in Lagos, his issues with Kizz Daniel, and his strong opinions about the Nigerian music industry, amongst other things.
