Jamie Foxx intervened after an object was thrown at GloRilla during his daughter’s music festival. On the night of Friday, October 24, the “Wanna Be” rapper performed at SKVLK Fest, which was hosted by the star of Django Unchained and his youngest child, Anelise Bishop.

GloRilla told a concertgoer, regardless of their age, ‘You can get your a** beat.'” Guests aged 14 to 22 had to wear costumes to participate.

A video clip that has been shared online shows Foxx reprimanding the person responsible. Who was responsible for it? What a completely reckless and irresponsible thing to do, you absolute idiot. “God damn,” he said. What’s the point of hurling something at the stage, mate? This costs nothing. This is for free.”

You folks don’t deserve this treatment. “That’s completely messed up,” the Oscar-winning actor continued. I’m extremely disheartened. I love all of you, but detest whoever that person was. That’s not acceptable behaviour, you just threw garbage in my home. You can’t stay at my place, that’s not acceptable.

Following the incident, GloRilla went back on stage to perform “TGIF” from her debut studio album, GLORIOUS. Performing artists at SKVLK Fest also included Leon Thomas, Tyga and YK Osiris, who delivered a live performance of “Worth It.”

Foxx ensured the negative energy didn’t spoil the occasion. He took to his Instagram on Saturday (Oct. 25), writing, “Last night was iconic… The [SKVLK Fest] was [fire].” At the age of 13, Anelise began hosting this Halloween party. At 17 years old, it has become a full-blown festival, and she is truly proud of you.

GloRilla, like many artists, has previously encountered objects being hurled at her while she performed on stage. At a concert in Denver in 2023, a concert-goer threw a jacket that struck the Memphis-based rapper on the head. “Listen, young girl, don’t throw anything else at me.” She warned at the time not to throw anything else at her. It struck me right in the face.
