Jacquees has another QueMix project in the works. On the following Wednesday, September 3, he released his own take on Kehlani’s “Folded,” that the Bay Area singer subsequently endorsed.

“We were waiting for you at the door,” Kehlani wrote in the comments section. The artist behind CRASH added to an Instagram Stories post, “Ask and you shall receive, twin.” “Come on, Jacquees!”

In the clip, Jacquees is heard singing, “We have a lot to decide, am I truly good enough for you?” Is Mood 2 really good enough for you, before confirming it’s officially on the way. It’s been a while since we’ve received a legitimate QueMix, so fans were understandably thrilled.

One Instagram user vowed to play it 46 times a day when it is released, while another commented, “Each time he sounds better than any original track.” View the post that follows.

Kehlani’s biggest solo single to date has been “Folded” according to chart performance. According to Billboard, the song marked their first entry into the Top 10 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, primarily due to the stripped-down “(un)Folded” version. The record also reached its highest position at No. 35 on the Hot 100 chart.

Kehlani explained the concept behind the song on social media in June, which originated from a mundane experience of folding away someone’s clothes they had left at her house. “They told you, ‘You’re angry at them, but you were considerate enough to fold it for them. So, go pick up your belongings.'” I might be dressed in a charming outfit waiting for you at the door because… give me one more chance.

Jacquees has also had a very busy year. He collaborated once again with DeJ Loaf on “F**k A Friendzone 2” in February, and his most recent solo project was July’s “He Kant.” It’s very possible that fans might see the record on his previously mentioned Mood 2.
