Afrobeat artist Victony revealed that he would probably have become an actor if he hadn’t pursued a music career.

Nigerian artist Anthony Victor, widely recognized as Victony, has disclosed his alternative career path. The singer mentioned that he would have pursued a career in the film industry if he hadn’t become a musician. Despite acknowledging his limited acting skills, he expressed a willingness to explore acting nonetheless.

During his interview with MTV Base, he was asked about his alternative career path if music hadn’t worked so well. The afrobeat artist said, “I would have been acting if I wasn’t an artist. I don’t know how to act though, but I can try”.

The creator behind the 13 voices featured in Ohema stated that his father served as his fashion inspiration. He said, “My look is basically a reflection of who I am; my background, my story, and my whole person”. He was asked which three music collections he would like to have if stranded on an Island. He said “LTG by Fireboy, Beauty Behind the Madness, Good Kid Mad City by Kendrick Lamar”.

Victony dropped a new single where he sampled the song Sunflower from the Spiderman: Into the Spider-verse soundtrack by American singers Post Malone and Swae Lee. The track is titled Everything and it was released on February 9, 2024.
