Gucci Mane isn’t harbouring any ill will towards Young Thug because of his comments. On the “Big Facts” show, which aired on October 17, Thursday, Guwop explained that he had accepted the Young Stoner Life Records rapper’s apology right away, despite the two never having spoken about it.

Apparently, this thug made some comments about me or something. Gucci Mane stated that it went on the internet, referencing the leaked prison phone call in which Thugger said he’d “turned soft” after being released from jail. He even made a song [‘Miss My Dogs’] about me afterwards. I immediately accepted the apology because I had been in a similar situation before, and I wanted someone to forgive me.

Gucci Mane further elaborated that situations like those can be emotionally burdensome. He said, “You want someone to go, ‘Dude, it’s alright.'”

Big Bank later inquired as to whether Gucci Mane and Young Thug ever had the opportunity to discuss the leaked call. “I haven’t spoken to him,” the “Lemonade” rapper replied. I have forgiven him. View the full clip that follows.

Thugger paid tribute in the sixth verse of his apologetic “Miss My Dogs” to Gucci Mane, whose record label 1017 Brick Squad he was affiliated with at one point. “He rapped on a track produced by London On Da Track, ‘I miss my dog, 1017, this is for life / Me and you, against the world, we’ve been back-to-back many nights.'” You’re not soft and didn’t back down.

For context, the song “Miss My Dogs” was released approximately two weeks after a leaked jail call came to light in which Young Thug spoke about Pierre “P” Thomas. The “Digits” artist stated in the audio that Gucci Mane removed the Quality Control Music CEO from his record label due to accusations of being a snitch.

When Gucci Mane learned about that, he terminated the conversation with him. ‘Because P used to try to rap,’ Thugger stated in the call. Guwop ultimately ended up incarcerated. It appears he suddenly dropped his tough act and began interacting with that person.
