Ghostface Killah – Rap Kingpin

Ghostface Killah was unable to meet his commitment to release Supreme Clientele 2 on June 19. However, there is no need for concern, as it is still on the way and will arrive in just a few weeks. Pitchfork has reported this development, allowing everyone to mark August 19 on their calendars.

With this announcement, Tony Starks is launching the sequel to his 2000 masterpiece with the track “Rap Kingpin.” The lead single features impressive sample flips, including one from the original album. The melody of “Mighty Healthy” can be heard in the haunting beat, accompanied by the whistles from Eric B. and Rakim’s “My Melody.”

This combination is truly exceptional, setting a wonderful tone for the album. Ghostface Killah finds an excellent groove as he delivers extravagant flexes with a bold approach. “We don’t f*ck on bearskin rugs, just Persian rabbits / We mad nice, cigar and a glass of water.”

Ghostface is not attempting to reinvent the wheel or surpass his previous achievements. Instead, he aims to recapture the essence of that era.
