G Herbo – Reason

G Herbo is entering album mode again with the boastful song “Reason.” The Chicago drill pioneer credits Don Cannon-co-produced beat for a lot of the trends currently in place back home.

I’m the cause of them becoming wealthy and abandoning their neighbourhood, yet still returning / I’m the reason why all these young guys are trying to become rappers, wanting to achieve success. G Herbo thinks his influence extends further than the local area. I’m the cause of their good fortune, I’m the cause my girlfriend is showing off / Your girlfriend is sending multiple messages and I’m the reason she’s texting.

This rollout gets off to a strong start, a move G Herbo has been hinting at on his Instagram recently. He began approximately three weeks ago with an inspirational post that read: “I’ve been through all the ups and downs in life… Having to transition from the streets to being a full-time artist wasn’t easy, but I made it happen! Years later, I’m still rapping! Nothing can stop me, “Lil Herb,” on the way {presave link in bio}.

No official release date has been announced, yet fans can pre-save the project on various digital platforms through a provided link, or visit the Republic Records website to pre-order a signed or unsigned CD. The product is scheduled to be shipped on October 3, a date coincidentally falling on a Friday. They should be on the lookout for LIL HERB to drop something.
