Playboi Carti is set to join Fortnite on Thursday (Dec. 11), and the game has provided details about his playable skins and in-game animations.

A 30-second trailer released on Tuesday (Dec. 9) began with the phrase “I AM FORTNITE,” referencing Carti’s music, which was previously titled I AM MUSIC, before showing his character gliding onto the map. The teaser features the track “EVILJ0RDAN,” accompanied by DJ Swamp Izzo’s ad-libs.

According to the trailer, players can look forward to five skin variations, including one with a blue jersey reminiscent of Carti’s look from August. Similar to previous musician collaborations in Fortnite, including Ice Spice and Snoop Dogg, Carti’s bundle will feature custom emotes and cosmetics, along with music-themed weapons and a Back Bling.

As noted by Hypebeast, Carti will become Fortnite’s first music-themed Blitz Boss and will also be featured in the 32-player battle royale mode. Players can access his character at 7 p.m. ET on the day of the release.

Carti’s recent activities include wrapping up his “Antagonist 2.0 Tour” on Dec. 1, concluding the event at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, where he was joined by Latto for a live performance of “Blick Sum (Remix).”

Other artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, and A$AP Rocky also shared the stage with Carti during the tour. His Opium Records roster, including acts like Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely, opened for him on various dates.

The tour aimed to promote Carti’s anticipated music project, which was released in March and features collaborations with artists like Future, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, and Jhené Aiko. Recently, Carti has been featured on several tracks, including Lil Baby’s “Let’s Do It.”
