The Wireless Festival 2025 reached a sell-out in the shortest time on record due to the popularity of Drake. Organizers revealed on Wednesday (Feb. 19) that general admission tickets had been sold out within just a few hours, with only a small number of VIP packages remaining. If that’s not conclusive evidence that the ‘God’s Plan’ rapper remains in control internationally, even after a year has passed, then what is?

The festival’s announcement was made on a Saturday, specifically February 16. Drake will top the bill for all three nights, featuring three separate setlists, from July 11 to July 13 at London’s Finsbury Park for its 20th anniversary. Although the complete list of performers has not been announced, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker, Vybz Kartel, and Burna Boy have so far been confirmed as the special guests.

Drake’s Record Abroad Remains Unbeaten

Regardless of opinions, Drake is among the rare rappers who can sell out numerous festival nights solely on the basis of their name. A significant portion of the recent success stems from some sexy songs 4 U, his newly released collaborative project with PND. The tour, titled “The Anita Max Win Tour,” which commenced in early February, had its schedule expanded in Australia due to extremely high demand.

He could very well do the same thing in North America.

The Scorpion artist is undoubtedly capable of achieving similar success in the US. Rolling Loud had previously offered him a similar “three nights of Drake” opportunity. “They were saying we have to make it unique. Okay, let’s go with three nights of Drake.” The festival’s co-founder, Tariq Cherif, informed Big Boy in January that you could be the main attraction for three nights.

The fact that he rejected the opportunity is all the more intriguing when considering the success of his OVO Fest in the past. Fans in the United States and Canada will have to wait until Drake schedules another tour, possibly in support of his upcoming album “$ome $exy $ongs 4 U” or his next solo release, whenever that may be.
