Drake recently received the endorsement of Brian Steel, who had acted as legal counsel for Young Thug in the longest-running trial in Georgia’s history, prior to the collaborative effort with PARTYNEXTDOOR on their joint project, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.

On February 13, Thursday, The New York Times journalist Joe Coscarelli contacted the attorney’s office for their comments on the album that includes a song titled after him. It’s no surprise Steel was “unaware” since the tracklist was only revealed that morning.

Steel responded to the message, stating that he had the privilege and pleasure of meeting with Mr. Graham. “He displays exceptional kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity, and intellectual ability, traits that make him an outstanding leader and admirable role model for our community.”

The legal professional continued by stating, “I wish to avoid drawing attention.” I genuinely wish for our community to cease constricting individuals and impeding the progress of concepts, innovations, customs, and liberties for everyone. Drake has revealed only two tracks, namely “Crying In Chanel” and “$omebody Loves Me,” suggesting that “Brian Steel” might be the Grammy Award winner’s first collaboration with Young Thug since the latter’s release from prison in October 2024.

The two artists previously collaborated on the 21 Savage-assisted track “It’s Up” as part of Drake’s 100 GIGS campaign. He and the YSL Records rapper previously collaborated on tracks such as “Oh U Went” and “Parade on Cleveland” from the 2023 album “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS”. The first-mentioned record was visually enhanced, albeit without any appearances by Thug due to self-evident reasons.

Regarding the 21-track offering of some sexy songs for you, this presents a promising chance for Drake to make a comeback after suffering a significant setback from Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. The Toronto rapper and PARTYNEXTDOOR appear to be heavily reliant on the nostalgia surrounding their past collaborations such as “Over Here,” “Come and See Me,” and “Since Way Back,” a sentiment that is somewhat hard to argue with.
