Drake is keen to reassure fans that his abs are indeed genuine. On Tuesday, 2 September, the rapper and Bobbi Althoff sat down for the premiere episode of her “Not This Again” podcast, where he talked about the speculation surrounding possible Botox or other cosmetic surgery procedures he had undergone.

About an hour into the conversation, Althoff inquired if he’d ever undergone “a procedure,” particularly an “abortion.” Drake responded with a simple “no.” The influencer-turned-podcaster then questioned whether the actual procedure existed and if so, how he would be able to verify it.

Drake quipped, “People often do it, and people also claim I got a BBL, isn’t that right.” That’s indeed how they refer to me, BBL Drizzy. Did my wagon look crazy when I walked in here, or was that just my imagination?

Drake glanced back at the shirtless mirror selfie that had sparked speculation about his abs after joking with Althoff about whether she was checking him out when he entered. I reckon it was just like I had just come from the gym. He mentioned that he was sweaty in that photograph. I may have increased the image’s saturation level. I’m afraid I hit it a bit too forcefully. Those individuals do not resemble that appearance. Them were seen by you.”

Drake subsequently revealed that Althoff had requested to view his abs. “He told her he had shown her his abdomen, and she had asked to see it.” She added sarcastically, “The first thing I said when I got off the plane was, ‘Can I see your abs?’ And then you replied, ‘Sure.'” That was the end of the conversation, and I thought, ‘You’re incredibly attractive.’ See the full clip above.

Metro Boomin released the “BBL Drizzy” instrumental on his SoundCloud as a free download last year. The beat sampled comedian KingWillonius’ parody soul track of the same name, with its BPM increased to 150.

In a surprising turn of events, Drake ultimately rapped over the beat on his own “U My Everything” track from Sexyy Red’s album In Sexyy We Trust. Listen to it below.
