Drake Gives Influencer $10,000 For Her Birthday At Houston’s Area 29 Strip Club

Christmas and the holiday season may have concluded, but Drake continues to give gifts. On Sunday, December 28, the rapper presented influencer and entrepreneur J Mulan with $10,000 for her birthday.

While celebrating at Area 29 Houston, where Drake recorded music for Iceman, J Mulan shared a video of herself with the rapper inside the venue. The text overlay of the clip stated, “POV: Drake gifts you $10K for your birthday.”

In the video, a man is heard mentioning that Drake gave her “$10,000 to go to Chanel tomorrow just because,” specifying that the money was all in hundreds. J Mulan captioned her post with, “DRAKKEEEEEE?!?! Real is rare, thank you … This is how you pop off your birthday.”

According to XXL, Drake shared footage of his studio setup in Area 29, referred to as OVO 29 for the event, the previous Friday, December 26. A conversation in the video includes a question about whether they were recording an album in the club, to which someone confirmed, “One thousand percent. You see the setup.”

The Grammy Award-winning artist also met up with rapper Belly Gang Kushington outside the venue. Belly Gang captioned their post, “Rich mixed kids convos in the back of Area 29 Houston.”

As reported last Monday, December 22, Drake gifted BenDaDonnn a Rolls-Royce during his “Christmas With Drake” livestream. He noted that they were planning to surprise Ben with the car during the broadcast. The rapper also showcased his own 2025 Rolls-Royce Spectre, which featured the Area 29 logo.

While the final tracklist for Iceman is not confirmed, Drake mentioned on his Kick stream that he was embarking on his “last recording trip,” stating, “Iceman coming soon. Y’all boys better duck and get out the way.”
