With his upcoming album, OCTANE, set to release soon, Don Toliver previewed the new material with a medley performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” On Monday night, the Houston rapper performed live renditions of “E85” and “Long Way To Calabasas.”

“Give it up for Don Toliver!” Jimmy Fallon announced as the audience showed their support. Toliver rapped on “E85,” a track named after a type of high-octane fuel.

After mentioning a “brand new Hummer” and describing his favorite outfit on someone special as “a see-through romper,” Toliver transitioned into “Long Way To Calabasas.” This more melodic track features production from Synthetic and Fendii, who have collaborated with Yeat, an artist expected to appear on the album releasing on Friday.

Toliver has been building anticipation for OCTANE with last year’s release “Tiramisu” and the recent single “ATM.” The album is set to feature 18 tracks, with the complete tracklist and guest appearances to be revealed as the release date approaches.

Though a tour has not been announced, Toliver is confirmed to perform at several festivals. He will appear at SXSW in March, headline the first day of Rolling Loud Orlando on May 8, and participate in events abroad in July.

OCTANE will follow Toliver’s fourth studio album, HARDSTONE PSYCHO, which was released in 2024. In an interview with GQ, he stated that “[HARDSTONE] is me going off of [the success of] Love Sick, going off of the tour, feeling the ambiance of everything I did and just wanting to take it up another notch.”
