Domino’s Unveils A New Jingle Created By Shaboozey Voices As Part Of Its Refreshed Brand Identity

Shaboozey is sharing his songwriting skills with Domino’s. A country singer and rapper collaborated on creating the jingle for the well-known pizza delivery company’s revamp, which includes a complete visual makeover.

Domino’s newly redesigned image was developed in collaboration with its agency of record, WorkInProgress, marking the company’s first rebrand in around 13 years. The update includes new fonts, enhanced red and white hues, and a fresh logo – “Dommmino’s,” featuring three additional middle “m’s”.

The “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” was adapted here, as Shaboozey is credited with crafting the new jingle. In a one-minute clip from Domino’s featuring the new additions, Collins Obinna Chibueze, also known as Shaboozey, is seen in a studio singing “Dom-mmm-inos.” Collaborating with the country singer who has a Grammy nomination is undoubtedly a means of remaining in touch with a younger demographic.

“At nearly 65 years old, we understand that to maintain our strength and relevance, we must continually stay modern and bold for both our existing and prospective customers,” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s executive vice president and global chief marketing officer, said to Adweek. What she was saying was that it’s about building on our strengths rather than altering things just for the sake of making changes.

Renowned for infusing country music with the raw energy of Hip Hop, Shaboozey was tasked with crafting a fresh jingle for Domino’s. “Pizza is the one food that unites people from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and cultures – and Domino’s excels at it,” Shaboozey stated in a press release. “It was a fun challenge to be the voice for the most desirable food item.”

Shaboozey is currently participating in “The Great American Road Show Tour” in promotion of his platinum-selling album “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going,” which was released in May 2024. The tour began in Indianapolis on September 22 and will visit cities such as Philadelphia, Nashville, and New Orleans before ending at the House of Blues in Orlando on October 16.
