DJ Snake & Don Toliver – Something Wrong

DJ Snake Don Toliver Something Wrong

For the most part, the general agreement is that we do not yet have a genuine summer hit in 2025. Given that fall begins on September 22, artists have limited time to attempt to bring an end to this dry spell. Considering this, the time frame in which an anthem can be fully appreciated is relatively short.

French superstars DJ Snake and Don Toliver are disregarding that reality and proceeding with their work nonetheless. Their joint single, “Something Wrong,” is their first-ever collaboration, and features spacey synths, bouncy bass, and elements of sexy drill.

The latter receives criticism within the hip-hop community for being overly simplistic. It doesn’t take over the track in this instance. Don Toliver is perfectly suited to dynamic production like this. It brings to mind “Too Many Nights,” which is a positive aspect, incidentally.

The album “Something Wrong” follows a formulaic songwriting style, which focuses on a promiscuous relationship characterized by casual hookups. Toliver connects with the right parts of the track and navigates the rhythm effectively. DJ Snake made a sound choice by selecting him for the task.

The track is scheduled to appear on beat smith’s third studio album Nomad, which is due out next month on September 26. “Reloaded,” “Patience,” “Paradise,” and “Noventa” with J Balvin are the other confirmed additions. Give “Something Wrong” a spin and see if it’s the summer jam of the year.
