Nigerian singer, Davido is sharing more details about his “Timeless” album.
In a recent interview with Beats 99.9 fm, Davido talked about how difficult it was for him to release it. He talked about grieving his lost ones, especially his son who died a few weeks before he could release his album.
Davido made it clear that he did not want to sound sad or depressed on the album and he tried his best to put out good songs with powerful lyrics.
Speaking on the first video off the album, Davido revealed he spent 100 million naira on a video shoot with TG Omori. According to him, it is the first 100 million he is spending on a Nigerian music video.
He revealed that the song in question which is titled “Feel” was created during a recording session at Blxst’s studio.
He stated that the video shoot for the song cost him over 100 Million Naira. in his words;
“I’m proud to say that’s my first 100 million naira video”
OBO said that the video took them six days to shoot and gave a shout-out to TG Omori. He also revealed that he is taking the visuals of the songs off the album seriously.
“My 100 Million Naira show, cause the video was like six days shoot and I came for three days and obviously it like a storyline, he shoot the other two days but shout-out to him, amazing, the visuals with this record, this album, we are not even joking at all”.
Recall that days ago, TG Omori took to his Twitter handle on March 21 to reveal he recently shot his greatest video.
He wrote: “I shot my greatest video today and God blessed it with the rain.”
While the director didn’t reveal the artist he worked with, Davido liked the tweet, which raised speculations among many of his fans.
