The world remains in need of explanations for how and why 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez came to be in the trunk of an impounded Tesla belonging to d4vd. Since her discovery last month, all attention has been focused on the “Romantic Homicide” singer, who allegedly transferred ownership of his two Texas homes to his mother shortly thereafter.

TMZ reported that one of these transfers occurred on September 18. On the same day, police were sent to a Houston-area residence after a swatting report falsely stated that there was a deceased female inside following a shooting.

Someone reported hearing gunshots in a 911 call that was obtained by ABC7. It appears that someone has died. Later, bodycam footage showed d4vd’s parents opening the door and telling the officers that his younger brother and sister also resided at the location.

D4vd supposedly conveyed ownership of his second residence on September 22. The timing of the event is certainly suspicious, but it’s worth noting that the musician has not yet been identified as a suspect in the investigation. A press release issued by the LAPD on Sept. 30 stated that Rivas Hernandez “may have been deceased for several weeks” prior to being discovered.

Her body was discovered in September. Eight items were found in the trunk of the Petals to Thorns singer’s Tesla at an impound lot following a report by workers of a “foul odor” emanating from the vehicle. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner stated that the cause and manner of Ms. Rivas Hernandez’s death have not yet been determined. “It therefore remains uncertain whether there is any criminal responsibility that extends beyond the act of concealing her body.”

Naijahomeland previously reported that d4vd has been in contact with the authorities, yet he has not publicly commented on the matter himself. He has also delayed the deluxe edition of WITHERED, which was initially scheduled for release on September 19. Kali Uchis had their collaboration “Crashing” from the LP successfully removed from streaming platforms.
