Culture Jam – Damage Control ft. Wale & Pusha T

Culture Jam Damage Control ft. Wale Pusha T

Following Culture Jam’s initial success in 2021, its first year as an entity, the venture featuring Kawhi Leonard slowed down production somewhat afterwards. Between 2022 and 2023, a total of one single was released during that period. The song would be titled “OK,” featuring Bramsito and Frenna.

In the past year, and with the addition of a new NBA star, Anthony Edwards, progress has been regained. In the near future, Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Culture Jam will be releasing a new compilation album. It remains uncertain whether the new project will be larger in scope than the self-titled first volume.

Available to us is the title, which is Culture Jam Presents: Legend In My Hood.

In spite of this, the revival is also beneficial for the promising brand. It’s especially thrilling to think about which artists will be involved in the next project. This weekend, Culture Jam has released “Damage Control” featuring two iconic veterans, Wale and Pusha T.

What makes this collaboration even cooler is that these DMV rappers have never worked together. Despite that reality, they sound great when paired together consecutively. “Damage Control” lacks a unified theme, but both King Push and Wale contribute a multitude of clever lyrics and one-liners.

One lyric that may grab some of y’all’s attention is from the Clipse MC, “Bruised egos, all you guys might sue,” he says. The timing of this situation certainly raises questions about whether he was trying to cause trouble given his past issues with Drake and the lawsuit filed by UMG over “Not Like Us.”

Overall, Culture Jam has a fun track that should get fans excited for Legend In My Hood.
