Ciara, Latto, & Jazze Pha – This Right Here

Ciara is giving a more contemporary spin to her signature early 2000s club anthems on “This Right Here.” The tinge was added by producer Jazze Pha, who has collaborated with CiCi on several occasions. He’s contributed to hits like “1, 2 Step,” “Get Up,” “Goodies (Remix),” and other notable tracks.

The bouncy beat contributes to the dual vibes, with Latto’s addition also playing a role. The Atlanta femcee from Columbus complements Ciara’s smooth vocals with her braggadocious style. She adheres to the theme of being unforgettable with several clever lines in addition. “A southern woman loves a mouth full of gold (Ayy) / No Chanel, I’m with CC (CC)” she raps.

Ciara’s willingness to collaborate with younger artists in her industry and beyond, as seen on this record, suggests she will cater to a diverse range of listeners on her upcoming album.

It’s good to know that CiCi will be arriving on August 22. It has been at least a couple of years since this project’s development started. She will release her eighth LP in 2023, and in the same month she issued a seven-track EP with the same title. The mixtape includes a significant portion of the upcoming tracklist, featuring her popular collaboration with Chris Brown, “How We Roll.”
