Chief Keef & Mustard – Shake Dat

Chief Keef Mustard Shake Dat

Chief Keef had a highly successful and celebrated 2024 thanks to the release of the much-anticipated sequel Almighty So 2. The project received high rankings on numerous end-of-year lists, and it’s easy to see why. The Chicago luminary delivered several highly energetic performances over some mind-blowing, self-produced beats.

The drill rapper has since laid low after releasing that and his joint tape with Mike WiLL Made-It. However, Mr Sosa is returning to release a brief, high-energy song to conclude the remainder of the summer. “Shake Dat” is a track made for strip clubs, featuring first-time collaborator Mustard.

Hearing the verse start may trigger a memory. The song was previously a collaborative effort with Kanye West during the Yandhi recording sessions. The track was simply titled “Jam 15” and boasted production credits from both Timbaland and Mustard.

The track is also well-known for incorporating a highly addictive sample of “Whistle While You Work” is incorrect as the actual song is “Whistle While You Twurk” by the Ying Yang Twins into its instrumental.

At the time, “Jam 15” lacked a traditional chorus and was instead a freestyle composition. This updated version includes one feature, which perfectly complements Chief Keef’s verse and the overall vibe. “Infant girl, shake that (Damningly) / You’re going to make me discipline that, I’m trying not to damage that (Oh, yeah).”
