WWE’s Elimination Chamber took place on Saturday night, March 1, with Drake making a special appearance in his hometown of Toronto. The Views artist accompanied by Lil Yachty received a small reference from Jake Paul, who was vying for an opportunity to contest Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41.

In a video posted on Yachty’s TikTok, Paul is shown using a Sharpie to write out the letters “OVO” on a glass enclosure. The intent behind the comment is unclear, but it primarily seemed like lighthearted teasing.

A five-time Grammy winner appeared unbothered, having previously shared on Instagram that they were sold, accompanied by a photo collection that featured Central Cee’s collaboration with Prime Hydration, a brand associated with Paul’s energy drink and KSI.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Featured a Star-Studded Lineup

Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber event featured several prominent figures from both the music and sports industries. Besides Drake and Lil Yachty, Concrete Boys’ Camo! and NAV were seen sitting ringside. Travis Scott made an appearance at John Cena’s last match against Rhodes, stepping into the ring.

The “4×4” rapper emerged with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson prior to landing a severe blow on the American Nightmare. According to the eight-time WWE Champion’s statements, another appearance in the ring may not be out of the question.

The History of Drake and Jake Paul

Drake and Paul have had a few light-hearted interactions over the years, primarily centered around the latter’s career in boxing. In 2023, a person associated with the song “Hotline Bling” reportedly placed a $250,000 wager on Nate Diaz defeating the YouTuber who had turned to boxing in Dallas.

In the same year, a Canadian rapper made a $400,000 wager on Paul emerging victorious over Tommy Fury, but the British cruiserweight ultimately secured a split decision victory instead. In 2024, Drake suffered a further loss of $355,000 following a bet he had placed on Mike Tyson in his contest against Paul. If circumstances had been in his favour, he would have left with $1 million.
