In a remarkable turn of events, Cardi B’s latest album has been certified platinum well ahead of schedule. The rapper’s second album in The Bronx experienced instant popularity, and the sales figures it achieved were a welcome consequence of that excitement.

Is the artist behind the song “Bodak Yellow” the one who has just released a new album on Friday, Sept. 19, which was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America the same day.

Praise is due to Cardi B. The RIAA announced on X that Friday afternoon that her brand new album, AM I THE DRAMA?, is now available and has already been certified Platinum, including the hit singles ‘WAP’, certified 9x Platinum, and ‘UP’, certified 5x Platinum.

For weeks, Cardi B has been actively promoting her new album, but she is no stranger to the RIAA. All of the songs from her 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy, were certified platinum by 2022. This marked the first achievement for a female rapper.

Cardi B, visibly pregnant, spent the entire weekend promoting her album by attending a series of meet and greets in New York City and as far as Pennsylvania. She shared a recap from a Queens event, which was set to “ErrTime” from her latest album, on her social media.

Funny photos and videos of Cardi B engaging with her fans are now being shared on the internet. Regardless of whether she was twerking while pregnant or receiving dolls that looked like her, it was clear that she was thoroughly enjoying the situation. In one clip, accompanied by her song “Pretty & Petty,” which is a diss track aimed at Bia, she playfully puts a fan in a headlock.

Cardi B still hasn’t finished making her appearances. She has a scheduled meet and greet at the DBS store in Atlanta on Monday, September 22. Following a busy weekend of fan engagement, she posted instructions on her Instagram Stories. Could you bring some deodorant? Brush your teeth thoroughly. Cardi instructed you to wash your feet. Bring some water, bring some soda, and bring some ice. I’m worried that a large crowd is going to be a problem, so I don’t want anything to happen to y’all out there. I’m going to meet every single one of you at the DBS store in Hotlanta – let’s go.
