Cardi B really wants to sell her new album, AM I THE DRAMA? , no matter what it takes. On Friday night, September 12, she shared a video of herself trying to persuade people on the subway to buy her CDs and vinyl records.

“Hey everyone! I’m here trying to sell these CDs. I’m looking to turn my life around. I used to be a ballerina,” she joked, likely making a funny reference to her past as a dancer. “But I want to set a better example for my kids. ”

She told one passenger the CDs were priced at $9.99, while the vinyl records went for “around 20 to 30 dollars. ” The Grammy-winning rapper added, “Please help out a mom of three. ” At one moment, Cardi got startled when she saw a big rat running by on the platform. “Oh my God! ” she exclaimed. “I can’t, I can’t, I can’t.” Near the end, she said, “Get me out of here. ”

AM I THE DRAMA? will be out in less than a week. As Cardi humorously wrote in her latest video, “Only seven more days until I find out if I’m about to lose my house. ” Leading up to the album’s launch, she has been doing lots of funny stuff, like burning sage while selling her music outside last Saturday, September 6.

She also announced a meet-and-greet tour that will start on the same day her album comes out, which is Friday, September 19. Fans can see the “Bodak Yellow” star in places like New York, Atlanta, Houston, and Long Island, as long as they buy a CD from the store hosting the event.

In the meantime, songs like “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz” can be streamed already. Cardi also decided to include some of her older hits, like “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion and “Up” because she thinks they “deserve a place” on the album.
