Cardi B isn’t interested in flaunting BIA’s first-week sales figures in her face. On October 22, Wednesday, the Bronx rapper informed fans that she has decided not to criticize the Massachusetts native ahead of BIANCA’s sales figures.

“I don’t single out women.” Cardi shared on X Spaces, saying she doesn’t wake up every day thinking, ‘I’m going to pick on this girl because I can.’ I recently found out BIA’s numbers from the day before. I’m not going to criticize her because of that situation. That’s going too far.

Bianca failed to chart on the Billboard 200, with HotNewHipHop reporting 8,000 album-equivalent units sold. For comparison, Cardi’s “AM I THE DRAMA?” debuted at No. One sold 200,000 units. It’s not an entirely fair comparison, considering the Grammy-winning rapper had seven years of anticipation beforehand.

An artist like Ice Spice, who has a similar profile, sold 28,000 units with her debut album Y2K. BIA might have achieved greater success if she had targeted Cardi on her 16-track album BIANCA, but she had stated that doing so would have undermined the value of that project.

“I’d be doing a disservice to myself with all I’ve invested in this album if I made it about her,” BIA stated on “The Breakfast Club” recently. “My message and my presence here are about much more than just a rap dispute.”
