Taylor Swift was not the sole individual affected by Donald Trump’s attendance at Super Bowl LIX on February 9. Cardi B reported that the Secret Service caused her considerable inconvenience.

“He was at the Super Bowl today, and they were giving us a hard time. Oh my gosh,” the artist known for “Up” shared with her followers during an Instagram Live session. “The Secret Service was not joking around at that event. They made it extremely difficult to enter that stadium. Oh my god.”

She further revealed that her $3,000 designer shoes were damaged “all because of Trump.” The 47th president, who remained at the Caesars Superdome only until the third quarter, had placed his bets on the Kansas City Chiefs, who ultimately lost to the Philadelphia Eagles with a score of 40-22.

“Now I like him less because you didn’t have to go to the Super Bowl and ruin my shoes,” Cardi B expressed. “Now he’s going to have to, well, he definitely won’t do that, bring my uncle back because my uncle was deported.” This statement was not merely a jest; since Trump assumed office on January 20, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has significantly intensified its deportation activities.

Cardi B has consistently voiced her opposition to Trump, particularly as the 2024 presidential election approaches. The artist behind Invasion of Privacy has shown her support for former Vice President Kamala Harris, even participating in a rally in Milwaukee.

On the music front, 2025 is anticipated to be a significant year for the mother of three, who has announced the long-awaited release of her sophomore album. Following a successful year that included collaborations on Rob49’s “On Dat Money,” GloRilla’s “Wanna Be” remix, and more, the Grammy Award winner recently contributed to Pardison Fontaine’s “Toot It Up” on February 7.
