Busta Rhymes – Taking Everything

Busta Rhymes is bringing his menacing persona to the mic for “Taking Everything.” The second single and preview is for the upcoming soundtrack to the animated action-comedy film Bad Guys 2. This is the follow-up to the 2022 DreamWorks hit that featured Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, and several other actors.

The plot summary of that initial movie was, “When the notorious Bad Guys, a group of criminal animals, are eventually apprehended after years of robberies and being the world’s most sought-after malefactors, Mr. Wolf negotiates a deal to secure their release from prison.”

On the other hand, the situation has changed significantly. The Bad Guys are facing difficulties establishing trust and being accepted as Good Guys in their newly formed lives, only to be pulled out of retirement and coerced into completing “one last job” by an entirely female team of lawbreakers.

Bad Guys 2 is set to be released in cinemas this Friday, August 1. The soundtrack mentioned earlier is also scheduled for release on the same day. The track “Taking Everything” by Busta Rhymes, along with “GOODLIFE” by Rag’n’Bone Man and WizTheMc, will be included.

As expected, this isn’t one of Busta’s strongest lyrical performances, as he has to adhere to the movie’s narrative. His booming voice serves as effective background music for the title characters in a chase scene or similar setting. Take a look at the following information.
