Burna Boy has recently earned another gold certification for his hit song ‘Alone,’ which has gained worldwide popularity.

Burna Boy has reached a notable achievement with his song “Alone,” which was included on the soundtrack for the movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” and has sold more than 500,000 copies in the US, thereby qualifying for a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The single “Alone” was published in November 2022 as a component of the soundtrack for the film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which highlights a diverse collection of African musicians. The song rapidly gained a strong connection with global audiences by combining Burna Boy’s unique music style with the themes present in the movie.

Burna Boy’s impressive list of accolades has just grown with the addition of his Gold certification. In March 2023, his hit single “Last Last” received a Platinum certification from the RIAA, signifying sales of more than 1 million units in the United States. The achievement made him the first African artist to have two solo songs attain Platinum status in America. Furthermore, the singer who has been hinting at a new album saw his 2018 hit “Ye” receive Gold certification in January 2023, thereby cementing his position in the global music industry.

In addition to the U.S., the film has also received recognition in other markets. The track achieved Gold certification in France in September 2023, having exceeded 15 million digital streams. As of January 2024, the programme secured Silver certification in the United Kingdom, indicating its broad appeal across various regions.
