Blueface – Baby Girl

Following his release from prison, Blueface is now at the center of much speculation about his future in the music industry. Before being incarcerated, Blue was renowned for his West Coast club hits in which he rapped uniquely. In contrast, his latest song “Baby Girl” adopts a distinctly different approach. The rapper utilises a low-key flow that is challenging to pinpoint. A subtle creepiness is present in the flow, but upon listening to the lyrics, it becomes clear that this effect is deliberate. This song is distinct, and one that will likely be quite divisive for those who were immediately drawn to Blueface from the start.
