Blaqbonez, a Nigerian rapper and songwriter, has officially announced a revised release date for his highly anticipated album, No Excuses.

The 16-track project that was initially set for an August 22, 2025, release will now be issued on Thursday, October 17, 2025.

The Go Home singer explained in a recent social media video that the album’s release was postponed to guarantee it met his artistic expectations. Earlier, he had informed followers on X (formerly Twitter) that he required more time to finish the project, admitting, “I didn’t complete it on schedule, that’s the truth.” In order to produce the best album possible, I have chosen not to compromise on quality.

Blaqbonez released the single Everlasting Taker on the day the album’s initial release date was postponed, in order to keep fans interested until a new date was announced. The track joined other pre-released singles including Louder, W for WETEGO featuring Young Jonn, Phyno, and DJ 808, and Go Crazy, all of which have built anticipation for what is yet to come.

The album has also gained popularity due to the fan-favorite track “Follow Her,” which features Kizz Daniel.

The rapper, known for his sharp wit and bold personality, is prepared to release what he considers his “best work yet” when No Excuses drops on October 17. The upcoming project follows his highly-regarded albums Sex Over Love (2021), Young Preacher (2022), and Emeka Must Shine (2023), which further cemented his status as one of Nigeria’s most innovative hip-hop artists.

As anticipation grows, enthusiasts are eagerly counting down the days to discover how Blaqbonez will continue to reshape his musical style and reaffirm his status as the “Best Rapper in Africa.”
