BigXthaPlug & Bailey Zimmerman – All The Way

BigXthaPlug has the Southern hip-hop style nailed from the beginning of his rapidly progressing career, just a few years in. His emotive sampling skills are impressive, and his distinctive deep voice lends an air of authenticity. Although he has gained a significant following after refining this formula on his well-received sophomore album TAKE CARE, he aims to move forward. Since launching this project, the Texas-born rapper has expressed a desire to incorporate more country music into his style. We’ve already witnessed the vision come to fruition as he did incorporate some of it into the aforementioned initiative. He first introduced his collaboration with Jessie Murph on the deluxe version of “Holy Ground,” which has since become extremely popular.

Talking to Complex, BigXthaPlug mentioned that he wanted to create a full project consisting of country rap crossovers, stating, “I have a country EP ready, you have Shaboozey, you have Morgan Wallen, you have Post Malone, Luke Combs, and Jelly Roll…” It appears that the newly released track before us, “All The Way” with Bailey Zimmerman, serves as the initial teaser. According to a press statement, BigX plans to launch this sometime next year, 2025. The song “All The Way” offers a strong, winning chorus from Bailey, addressing his ex in a message to move on in a good way this untitled EP’s starting point. He and X have a strong connection and seem to fit naturally within their respective musical styles.
