Bhad Bhabie’s father, Ira Peskowitz, has spoken out in response to her calling him a “deadbeat” in her new song, “Honest.” He made the claim in a Tuesday (Oct. 21) interview with TMZ that she is not telling the truth in her lyrics.

Peskowitz stated each of those statements is entirely false, referring to the track in which Bhad Bhabie rapped about him attempting to get in touch now that she’s famous. She also shared harsh lyrics, such as, “It’s f**k him though, I hope he wastes away / What kind of father sacrifices a relationship for $20K?”

Peskowitz responded by saying he didn’t sell her for $20,000. I had been trying to be involved in her life long before her appearance on ‘Dr. Phil’ and shortly before she went on the show. I have evidence to prove that I attempted to get her into a programme aimed at providing assistance.

Bhad Bhabie gained significant fame after appearing on “Dr. Phil” with her mother in 2016, primarily because of the popular ‘Catch me outside, how about that?’ internet meme that went viral. Peskowitz continued, “I’m not sure why she dislikes me that intensely.”

He continued, “I’m extremely angry that she can’t understand that I’m the only one, along with my wife and her brothers, who genuinely love her for who she is, rather than her wealth or her well-known public image.”

Peskowitz stated that despite everything, he’s still “here for her” and does not intend to pursue legal action regarding the song. I’m not sure I’d be willing to do that. He asked why he would want to take his daughter to court. View the clip that follows.

Bhad Bhabie kicked off the year with a strong musical performance in “Ms. Whitman,” which was targeted at Alabama Barker. She then released “OG CRASHOUT” and a viral freestyle of Sexyy Red’s “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad),” along with a few other independently released singles.
