Benzino Expresses His Feelings About Not Being Able To See Coi Leray's Baby And Wishes For A Return To Normalcy In Their Relationship

Benzino expressed a desire for his relationship with Coi Leray to return to normal. On November 25, the rapper and television personality became emotional while discussing his current relationship with his daughter and the fact that he has not seen his grandchild since Leray gave birth in June.

Benzino mentioned, “I know for a fact that anything I did was out of love — or anything that I might not have [done] right was just me not knowing. So, I didn’t do anything on purpose to hurt anybody. I know that’s no excuse.” He acknowledged feeling emotional during their conversation.

“It’s just a touchy situation because she just had a baby, and I haven’t seen her,” he said, referring to Leray’s daughter, Miyoco. “I get the pictures once they come out on The Shade Room or the blogs, like everybody else. I just wish it would stop [and] just go back to being normal again.”

The relationship between Leray and Benzino has faced many challenges over the years, primarily negative ones. Last May, Leray revealed that they had not spoken in over a year, following Benzino’s discussions about their relationship in various interviews.

She previously tweeted, “I want everybody to know I want nothing to do with anything my father has going on,” in a message that has since been deleted. In another post, she stated, “Sharing the same DNA and blood doesn’t make us family.” Earlier, Leray accused Benzino of trying to leverage her for clout.

On a brighter note, Leray welcomed her child over the summer. Although she and Miyoco’s father, Trippie Redd, separated before the birth, Leray appears to be content in her new relationship.

Earlier this month, Leray expressed her feelings for Justin Laboy, stating how “in love” she is with him. She referred to him as the “most amazing man on earth” in a TikTok video featuring music by Megan Thee Stallion.
