One of Bad Bunny’s recent workouts was cut short, but he took it in stride. The “MIA” rapper and singer explained the details of the phone call from JAY-Z, informing him that he was scheduled to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.

On Sunday, September 28, the National Football League and Apple Music announced that Latin Trap Star would be headlining the Super Bowl’s halftime show on February 8, 2026, in Santa Clara. JAY-Z’s influence is widely acknowledged in determining who is awarded the honour.
