Those characteristics are evident throughout his most recent single, “Pause.” The Michigan spitter successfully incorporates the internet’s “pause” joke into a serious tone.

Few rappers are able to blend humor with genuine sincerity as effectively as BabyTron, and this project showcases that skill. On the slickly produced cut, “Danny G Beats” and “Jakesand” contribute, he portrays himself as the authoritative figure with a song featuring lyrics about drugs and sports references. The introduction features the line “Bottom of the ninth inning, this is a walk off,” delivered in a rap style.
