“Bayabaleka” is a diverse fusion of Afro-soul and Amapiano music styles, which brings together some of the most talented vocalists and producers in the industry. This track is a collaborative achievement, featuring Baby Momo as the producer and vocal talents from Mthunzi, MaWhoo, GL_Ceejay, Ney The Bae, and Baby S.O.N.

Baby Momo and Artwork Sounds have recently collaborated on a track with Starr Healer, Mthandazo Gatya, and D’Braz, which is featured on Hamba.

The title “Bayabaleka”, which translates to “they are running” in Zulu, conveys a sense of escape, urgency, or movement, encompassing both physical and emotional aspects. As the instrumental progression continues to build, it is accompanied by rich pad textures, driving log drum patterns, and emotive piano lines, against the backdrop of a narrative voice which recounts a multifaceted tale of love, remorse, and the desperate attempt to maintain a grip on a relationship which is descending into chaos.

Mthunzi contributes a smooth tenor, MaWhoo adds a powerful yet gentle delivery, GL_Ceejay brings depth, and Ney The Bae incorporates ethereal tones, all of which blend together in harmony.
