“Awon Werey” – BNXN Slams CKay For Backing Out Of Song Due To Blaqbonez

Daniel Benson, the Nigerian singer popularly known as BNXN, has reacted after his colleague, CKay claimed that he failed to hop a song with him because of rapper, Blaqbonez.

Chukwuka Ekweani aka Ckay said on Thursday that the ‘Gwagwalada’ crooner backed out of featuring on his latest song, Hallelujah.

He revealed that there was supposed to be multiple versions of the single with BNXN, Seyi Vibez and Blaqbonez but due to some personal reasons the first two could not be possible.

Ckay said BNXN opted out when he heard Blaqbonez’ verse while Seyi’s team simply did not give him a clear feedback.

The ‘Love Nwantiti’ crooner, however, said that Hallelujah represents his journey from a poor upbringing to where he is today.

He wrote; “The bnxn version of HALLELUJAH may never come out. he asked to be ‘excused’ from the song when he heard blaqbonez’ verse and i simply granted his wish. seyi vibez version may also never come out because his team didn’t clear it. maybe the verse was too personal, maybe it was too deep…i fully respect it.

But at the end of the day, HALLELUJAH represents my journey from the trenches to where i am today. Blaqbonez is my bro for real and we share a lot more than a lot of you might think, but that’s a story for another day. I appreciate the love and support of the TRUE fans. i won’t be here without you.”

Taking to his Twitter account late Thursday night, BNXN who was angry about the claim shaded him with an insult in Yoruba.

He wrote; “Awon werey ?”
