Asake Officially Leaves YBNL, Disclosing The Name Of His New Music Label

Asake has confirmed his exit from YBNL following the announcement of a new label with the release of his initial song for the year 2025.

Nigerian music star Asake has unveiled his own record label, Giran Republic, a development that signifies his departure from YBNL and represents a substantial turning point in his professional journey.

His latest single, Why Love, was released simultaneously with the announcement, and it made its debut on the new label.

The subject of the Giran Republic has been a topic of speculation since last year, following Asake’s update of his social media profiles to include the brand name and the creation of a dedicated Instagram page, prompting fans and industry observers to anticipate its launch.

Asake’s path in the music industry has been truly exceptional. He began his career as a dancer before transitioning to a career in music.
