Armani White is not allowing one bad day to disrupt his album release plans. On October 14, Tuesday, the rapper responded to reports that he had been arrested for allegedly filming a music video on the highway.

White shared on his Instagram Stories that he smiled in the picture because he refuses to let anyone portray him as a criminal, referencing his mugshot. This shouldn’t have occurred, and it should certainly not be reported.

TMZ reported that on the evening of October 12, White was taken into custody and subsequently booked into Kentucky’s Laurel County Detention Center. Eyewitnesses told the outlet that he was seen jumping onto the central concrete barrier on I-75, where he reportedly began dancing.

Local station Channel 32 stated that White was “running across lanes of traffic” and “forcing drivers to slow down.” He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and stopping, standing, or parking on a limited-access highway, both of which are misdemeanors, before being released.

Court records indicate the “BILLIE EILISH” creator was supposed to appear in court on Monday (Oct. 13), but the jail instructed him to schedule a court date by phone, citing his status as a “professional rapper.”

White reassured fans in a subsequent interview that his arrest would not postpone the release of There’s a Ghost in My House. The album is scheduled for a release on October 31. He isn’t relocating it on account of this. I’ve put in far too much effort to be hindered by this.

The project’s title alone provides a logical reason for its Halloween release. White has confirmed that both “GHOST.” featuring Samara Cyn and “MOUNT PLEASANT.” will be included on the project, as well as a guest appearance from T-Pain.

A ghost resided in my residence. It’s pretty clear, but I’m not sure. White stated it just made sense to Z107.9’s Ro Digga and DJ Ryan Wolf last Wednesday, October 8. “I had planned to do it the previous year, but a multitude of events unfolded as they typically do.”
