Anycia & Quavo – Put Up

Anycia Quavo Put Up

Anycia has secured her second notable co-sign/feature in her relatively brief career on “Put Up.” The boisterous and sexually charged hit single features Quavo, the former de facto leader of the now disbanded Migos. The single serves as the latest and final preview for the femcee’s upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape Grady Baby.

The tape is set to arrive on July 18 and will be hosted by none other than DJ Drama. This is the third release, with “Never Need” including GloRilla and KARRAHBOOO, and “No Scrub” being the other two.

Anycia and Quavo showcase an excellent back-and-forth chemistry in this particular performance. The duo divide the two verses equally among themselves, creating some sexual tension as they perform the lyrics, which include the lines “Too much moneyness on the floor, can’t see your ankles, baby / Yeah, I’m too fine, don’t need no makeup, baby / I been f*ckin’ on that n****, it ain’t no replacin’ me / I get top ’cause I’m on top / It’s soakin’ wet, her p**sy WAP, I need a mop (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah).”

It’s clear that no one outdid Quavo and the Migos in terms of how harmoniously they worked together. Anycia clearly demonstrates that she would have been an excellent fourth member.

This project is proving to be a lot of fun as Anycia’s mission is to pay tribute to the ATL’s sound and highlight the women’s active role in progressing it. Take a look at “Put Up” listed below.
