SPINALL EKO GROOVE Album

Nigerian DJ and musician Spinall has released his seventh studio album “Ekó Groove.”

SPINALL’s star-studded project “ÈKÓ GROOVE” is a 14-track masterpiece that demonstrates his refined musical taste and ability to collaborate with a diverse range of artists.

The album includes appearances by Wizkid, Olamide, Omah Lay, Victony, Young Jonn, Niniola, Tyla, Teni, Summer Walker, Buju Banton, Jaz Karis, Ami Faku, Heavy-K, and several other artists.

SPINALL discussed the concept behind his album in a conversation with Apple Music, outlining its creative vision and inspiration. He says;

This album is essentially a tribute to the city that nurtured me and helped develop many other outstanding artists.

Many artists have relocated to Lagos from Port Harcourt, from Benin, and other locations, and they’ve successfully taken their work to an international audience.

Throughout the 14 tracks of ÈKÓ GROOVE, SPINALL serves as a connection between the various artists, sonic environments, and ideologies that have contributed to Lagos’ status as a culturally diverse hub, while maintaining the melodic base that helped Afrobeats achieve global success.

The album “ÈKÓ GROOVE” was preceded by singles from SPINALL, such as “KEROSENE” with Young Jonn, “ONE CALL” alongside Omah Lay and Tyla, and other songs.
