Davido, a renowned Nigerian musician, has unveiled his fifth studio album, which is titled “5ive” and was highly anticipated.

Davido’s impressive project “5ive,” boasting numerous high-profile collaborations, showcases his artistic growth, skill, and effortless team-working ability.

The seventeen-track album “5ive” showcases a diverse range of songs that encompass Afrobeats, Afro-Pop, Amapiano, and other musical styles.

Davido referred to his album in a recent interview as:

I’ve always been passionate about creating a substantial body of work and producing high-quality music. This album is certainly shaping up to be a classic in the style of Davido.

The album is titled ‘5ive’ because it marks my fifth release, and the significance of the number five is that it symbolises the transformation, development, and optimism that are currently unfolding in my life.

The lineup includes a diverse range of artists, encompassing 450 acts such as ODUMODUBLVCK, Omah Lay, Chike, Victony, Chris Brown, Becky G, Victoria Monét, Shensea, Musa Keys, Tayc, Dadju, and YG Marley.

Three of his earlier releases preceded the album: “Awuke” with YG Marley, “Funds,” which features ODUMODUBLVCK and Chike, and “Be There Still.”
