One fan wanted to know which of the song lists going around online was the correct one. The popular singer quickly made it clear that one of the lists was indeed true.

The song list that appeared online showed that the singer plans to work with artists such as Davido, Pasuma, Miguel, Pharrell, and others on this project.

In a long message shared on September 10, 2025, Adekunle Gold announced that he was getting ready to release a new project he had been quietly putting together. He mentioned that this would be his best work so far because it shares his personal story.

In his detailed message, he wrote, “I’ve been working quietly on something that marks a new chapter for me. Music that shows where I come from, who I have become, and where I’m heading. This album tells my story, the lessons I have learned, the friendships I have lost, the wins I have celebrated, the sadness of losing my father, the joy of welcoming my daughter into the world, and much more. This album took 5 years to make and it is my BEST work yet; I can keep surprising myself. It reminds me that I can achieve anything I want, and so can you. You’ve listened to me and welcomed every moment I’ve shared. This part of my story goes back to the start of my journey, returning to why I began making music in the first place: to tell stories.
