Ab-Soul – Only One, There Is (Freestyle)

Ab Soul Only One There Is Freestyle

Ab-Soul is not one of the biggest rap stars currently, but he is one of the most respected lyricists of our era. It was unfortunate to witness him struggle on a fairly substantial platform over the weekend. The California-born MC was brought on to perform a freestyle for Kai Cenat and his Mafiathon 3 subathon.

The performance proceeded smoothly at first, but he eventually started to forget his lines, and the TDE artist failed to gain momentum. Last weekend, Ab-Soul discussed his performance on Instagram.

“It happens to even the most skilled individuals,” he said, before stating, “Those guys gave me the chance to showcase my true talent, true mastery, and I let my nerves get the better of me.”

He actually caught the attention of former label mate REASON, with whom he has issues. This led him to propose that he might require medical assistance for a supposed addiction. They need to check their friend into rehabilitation. Like fr!”

REASON justified his tweet, stating that he’s simply trying to look out for Soulo despite their current disagreements. “I’m not his friend, and I don’t associate with him right now because he’s been dissing me.” As a human and artist, I have enough concern to express it. Supporters have to show concern as well. Fans will always be enthusiastic supporters. People online aren’t human beings, they’re just enthusiasts.

The constant noise appears to have prompted Ab-Soul to release a fresh freestyle. A supposed collaborator of the Carson native posted to daboatdock’s IG page, where he can be heard rapping over Gunna’s “one of wun” beat.

This is actually one of several freestyles, specifically seven. The mixtapes have been posted since mid-August, which has led fans to speculate that a mixtape may be in the making.
